It's Bad News

Everything about World of Warcraft is pretty neat. You can complete most quests by killing lower level mobs and still get mucho XP from the quest-giver. But it does get tedious after doing a lot of the "kill x number of monsters to get y number of items". Melee characters do seem to suck early game, as ranged ones can lure enemies one by one and thereby have an easier time. Warriors have to charge up and hope the monster's nearby buddies don't join in the beatdown.

The game world is huge. It's massive. Although I'm mostly seeing brown and savannah plains at the moment, reflecting the land of Kalimdor in the Warcraft world. Even dying in the game isn't much of a drag, because you can always run back in spirit form to your corpse and revive with no penalty. The drawback is that your spirit may start in the nearest town and your corpse might be several long minutes away. Or you can immediately resurrect yourself at the town and get a hefty equipment durability penalty.

XP is quite generous, to sum it up.

...You know what? The worst thing about World of Warcraft is being away from it. And that is bad news for me, it's cutting down on my "other stuff".
